Mitja Morgut
Morgut Mitja was born on 17/03/1980 in Gorizia (Italy).
He took his master degree in Naval Architecture, at the University of Trieste, on July 2006.
He recently concluded his PhD studies at the University of Udine. His research, supervised by prof.
Enrico Nobile, focused on the numerical modelling of cavitating flows with specific application to
marine propellers.
Currently Morgut Mitja, as a post-graduate, is involved in the OpenSHIP project, at the Department
of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Trieste, whose objective is the
development and application of advances, high fidelity, OpenSource CFD strategies for the
prediction of propeller and ship performances.
